Kate Robinson (sculptor)

Born in Warwickshire, Robinson obtained a 1st class BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art in 1989, completing her Phd at University of Glasgow in 2002. Amongst her awards are the Guardian/Modern Painters prize for Writing on Art in 2004.〔 Her commissions include statues of Jimmy Johnstone〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7781478.stm )〕 and the founder of Celtic football club, Brother Walfrid at Celtic Park, Glasgow.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.celtictrust.net/index.php?func=d_home_article&id=167 )〕
In 2011 her sculpture, ''Woman Man Sun Moon'' was unveiled next to the M8 motorway in South Lanarkshire.〔
